Terms of use
Last updated: 20 October 2026.
Who provides the service
FamiKey is a service of VICXELCODE, S.L., calle Doutor Casares 164, 27400 Monforte de Lemos (Lugo), Spain. Contact: hi@vicxelcode.com.
What FamiKey does
FamiKey shows the members of a family group the verification codes that a streaming service sends by email to the account holder, based on the messages that the account holder voluntarily forwards to their group’s private address. FamiKey is not affiliated with Netflix or any other service.
Responsible use
- You may only forward emails from accounts you own or are authorised to manage.
- You are responsible for who you invite to your groups and for complying with the streaming service’s terms, including its rules on who the account may be shared with.
- You may not use FamiKey to access other people’s accounts, circumvent security measures or for unlawful purposes.
Your account
Keep your password secret. You can delete your account whenever you want from the app (Profile → Delete account) or as explained in Delete your account. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
Plans and subscription
- Free plan: you can create one home, with unlimited members. Joining other people’s homes does not count towards that limit.
- FamiKey Premium: lets you create more homes. It costs €1.99 per month or €14.99 per year, taxes included; in other countries the price shown by the store in the app applies.
- The subscription is purchased in the app through the App Store or Google Play and is charged to your account with that store when you confirm the purchase. It renews automatically at the same price and for the same period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel it at any time in your store account settings. If you cancel it, you keep premium until the end of the period already paid for. Deleting your FamiKey account does not cancel the subscription: cancel it in the store as well.
- If you no longer have premium, your first home keeps working and the others are paused: they still receive emails, but their codes are not shown and no notifications are sent for them until you have premium again.
- Refunds and the right of withdrawal are handled by the store where you made the purchase, under its own terms. For purchases made on the App Store, the Apple Standard License Agreement also applies.
Availability and liability
FamiKey depends on emails sent by third parties: if the streaming service changes its messages, some codes may not be recognised until we update the app. We provide the service with due diligence but without any guarantee of continuous availability and, to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from its use.
Changes and governing law
If we change these terms, we will let you know in the app. They are governed by Spanish law; any dispute will fall under the jurisdiction of the courts determined by consumer protection law. How we process your data is explained in the privacy policy.
